Requirements
Our client Murray & Willis, specialist office and shopfitters, won a project in Cambridge which would run for well over a year. Two project workers working Monday-Friday each week would need accommodation with a private bedroom, so open to sharing a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment over two hotel rooms. Parking onsite was essential.
ACCOMMODATION DELIVERED
Suite Hub approached many its providers in and around Cambridge, looking for those who would accept a long term Monday to Friday booking at a fixed rate, along with onsite parking and 2 bedroom apartments that have at least 2 bathrooms. We finalised on and negotiated a great fixed rate deal at our Turing Locke property which worked out about £40 per night less than booking two hotel rooms, delivering a large saving over the year (whilst eliminating peak rate increases from hotels) and providing a spacious home from home environment for the guests in the gound.
SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME
The two project workers were very happy with their large 2 bedroom apartment and felt they had more space than an individual hotel room. They benefited from a fully equipped kitchen, private bathrooms and more room to relax. Our client saved against their accommodation budget for the project, eliminated the risk of periodic inflated hotel prices, and had peace of mind their staff were as satisfied, motivated and productive as possible.
